We are a group of students from Lord Wandsworth College. Some of us entered CanSat last year and for others this is our first time! Follow the blog for our journey to build and then launch our CanSat.
Rescue Can
Our mission is to make a can that would be useful in a rescue situation. There will be a red button on top, once pressed it will send out the GPS co-ordinates.
UK CanSat (stem.org.uk) – This competition is run in the UK by ESERO (the European Space Agency UK educational outreach)
I have gained valuable skills in organising and managing a team, learning about the key components of planning complex missions to include gannt charts and mission objects. I also really enjoyed working as a team and seeing the project progress.
