LWC CanSat 2025/26

Here are our initial designs of the can. We are printing the prototypes on a Bambu A1 using an 0.8mm nozzle, so the print is quick. We are using PLA as it is biodegradable and inexpensive.

Our first few attempts at the threading didn’t work as they were too tight but we now have that sorted and the screw thread is secure but not tight to turn. The shape of the inner supports is to hold the components in place so they can’t move during descent and landing.
